CRO Masaka Project

CRO Masaka project is the third project nitiated in 2002 after the successful implementation of the CRO Jinja project. CRO Masaka is located 120 km South of Kampala city in Masaka district. The project offices and drop in center is located on Kampala Road in Masaka town.

Since its institution, CRO Masaka has assisted over 200 street children. Today the project is supporting 170 children . CRO Masaka works closely with local leaders and 123 parents/guardians of street children in Nyendo slum.

 9 full-time staff work in the project. They include; The Program Manager, Accounts Assistant, 1 teacher, 2 social workers, 1 nurse, 1 caterer, 1 day guard. Two people are volunteering their services at the project.50 children attend the rehabilitation class ,83 children attend Primary schools,17 children attend Secondary schools, 20 attend vocational schools while 8 attend Tertiary institutions.

There are seven members of the Board of Directors who oversee the work of CRO Masaka. They are:
