CRO Mbale Centre
CRO Mbale is the first project founded in 1992. CRO Mbale is situated 230 km East of Kampala in Mbale District. The project office and drop in center is found on Bishop Wasikye Road, plot 15-17 in Mbale town.
Over the years, CRO Mbale has impacted the lives of over 5000 street children. Currently the project is supporting 850 children. 61 children attend the Rehabilitation program, 418 children are sponsored in primary school. 165 children attend secondary school. 12 children attend university, 20 other tertiary institutions, 37 children attend vocational training institute and informal vocational training, while 23 children are pending resettlement.
CRO Mbale works with local leaders and over 550 parents/guardians in Namatala slum, Musoto, Nauyo, Namakwekwe, Doko, Maluku and Mooni communities in Mbale.

CRO works closely with 49 community volunteer members from the Namatala slum, Musoto, Nauyo, Namakwekwe, Doko, Maluku and Mooni communities to care for people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. CRO has sent two youth, Jabez Arapsaik and Sharon Nakiru to Norway to participate in the Youth Exchange Program, for a period of 10 months. - Two youths from Norway, Hanna and Birgite are with CRO for a period of seven months.
