Recomendation

As Director of Viva Network, the international association of Christian work amongst children at risk, I would like to commend to you the work of Child Restoration Outreach (CRO). CRO's success in rehabilitating Ugandan street children in Mbale and Jinja has earned the respect of the international child care community and 1 wholeheartedly endorse their efforts and their plans to begin projects in other Ugandan towns.

I have personally visited CRO's projects at Mbale and Jinja, .whilst researching hundreds of child care projects around the world (Viva Network has contact, also, with approximately 1500 such projects). CRO is one of the most effective street children projects I know and its success rates - resettling 48 Jinja street children within the first 16 months of operation, for instance - are unusually high.

Yours sincerely,

Patrick McDonald
Director of Viva Network and
